Promote development and wellbeing for school age children

During this short course you will explore structured and unstructured activities to promote development and wellbeing for school age children aged 5 to 12 years.

Learn practical experiences, activities and games that will actively engage school age children in a fun, supportive learning environment.

Struggling to provide experiences in wet weather? We will explore different alternatives and types of activities that can be implemented indoors as well.

Let's get up and move…this is a practical session, so wear your running shoes and comfortable clothing.

This short course covers:

- Promoting development and recreation
- Practical and inviting ideas for the indoor and outdoor environment
- Games: innovative and co-operative
- Experiences for wet weather
- Daily recommendations for physical activities
- Sharing of ideas that participants have implemented in their services.

After successfully completing this course, you will receive a Statement of Attendance.
