Electric vehicle safety awareness

This course is designed for automotive technicians, auto- electricians, parts recyclers, paint, smash repairs and emergency response members who require the skills and knowledge to perform correct safety procedures when working with hybrid and high voltage electric vehicles (HEVs), systems and components.

You will cover:
• safety awareness
• use of appropriate specialised personal protective equipment
• basic function of automotive high voltage and hybrid systems
• procedures for disconnecting and disarming automotive high voltage and hybrid battery systems.

You will need to wear work appropriate safety gear including overalls and safety boots for this course.

After successfully completing this course you will receive a Statement of Attendance.
